We’re just getting started! With your feedback, we’re continuing to release updates to mobile and web applications that are packed with new features and upgrades. Here’s what we just released and a preview of what’s coming next!
Brand New Updates
This week’s app update is now available on iOS and Google Play:
- Android and iOS specific bugs (GPS errors, syncing, data caching, and speed improvements)
- The registration and login screen have been updated so you won’t have to log back into the app each time you open it.
- We have resolved the issue with your photo uploads, making it easier and faster.
- Initial improvements to continue making connecting Bullseye even easier.
Preview Upcoming Features!
Here’s some of what you’ll see in upcoming releases:
WAY MORE FOR YOUR WAYPOINTS!
Want to lay in bed and mark waypoints on your map? No problem! Soon you will be able to mark locations (catches, waypoints, photos) and interact with your map before ever recording an actual fishing trip.
We’ve added all new waypoint options for a total of 15 different waypoints! Toggle individual waypoints on and off your map in your Historic Waypoints screen.
Selecting waypoints on your map opens up deep detailed menus with an added ability to associate a photo and notes with each location. Want to incorporate a photo from the album on your phone? No problem!
You’ll also have new options to delete, edit, and share any waypoint. Editing waypoints allows you to change a honey-hole to structure. The first version of sharing waypoints will only support text and email sharing – If sharing is your thing, you’re going to love what’s coming! All of your data will always remain completely private by default.
If you’re planning for a specific trip, you can select waypoints and Pin to Map. These waypoints will lock to your map until removed. If you marked waypoints while recording a fishing trip, you can navigate to the trip details page that any waypoint might be associated with.
SMARTER CONNECTED DEVICES!
We’ve already started improving the experience with connecting ANGLR Tracker or Bullseye to the app. This is by far the most seamless and easiest way yet! With this update, when connecting a device, just tap the button on your device to connect. No need to trigger anything on the app.
All connected devices will automatically disconnect upon ending a recorded fishing trip. We’ve added the ability to disconnect through the connected devices section as well.
Pressing the button on the ANGLR Tracker or Bullseye still records a catch. New unique waypoints have been added to each device which can be recorded by pressing the button twice. The ANGLR Tracker now marks an editable “Smart Waypoint”. The ANGLR Bullseye now marks… you guessed it… “Bullseye!”
NEW MAP VIEW ON YOUR WEB PROFILE
We’re taking your FishMode map from mobile to your desktop or tablet with a new map view! The first version allows you to interact with recorded fishing trips and navigate to their details.
You’ll also be able to review your historic waypoints with corresponding details menus.
